A new workshop on the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the European Commission through the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DGMARE) and the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) organized, on November 14, 2019, in Bucharest, the second regional workshop on the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea.

The works of the workshop, which continued the series of those opened on July 6, 2018, were focused on identifying ideas, solutions and projects for putting into practice the "blue economy", nationally and in the Black Sea region.

The event was organized thanks to the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the team for the Blue Growth Facility for the Black Sea, an initiative of DG MARE to support the processes of elaboration, negotiation and implementation of the common maritime agenda at the Black Sea. The workshop also benefited from the support of the European Commission Representation in Bucharest.
