Announcement regarding the submission of the request to obtain environmental approval for the Maritime Spatial Plan of Romania and the initiation of the framing stage

The Maritime Spatial Planning Committee, through the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration of Romania, with headquarters in Bvd. Libertății, no. 16, Latura Nord, sector 5, Bucharest, owner of the Maritime Spaial Plan, announces to the interested parties about the submission of the request to obtain the environmental approval for the Plan and the initiation of the framing stage.

The first updated version of the Maritime Spaial Plan can be consulted at https://mdlpa.ro/subarticles/7/anunt26042022, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests, Bvd Libertății no. 12, sector 5, Bucharest, from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or at the headquarters of the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, from Monday to Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and Friday between 8 a.m.: 30 – 14:30.

Comments and suggestions can be received in writing at the headquarters of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests and at the e-mail address evaluare.impact@mmediu.ro, within 18 days from the date of publication of the announcement.

The Center for Coastal and Marine Studies (CCMS), Varna, Bulgaria, as partner in the MARSPLAN-BS II project participated at 34th International Geographical Congress, held 16-20 August, 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey (virtual) and presented main results, progress and lessons learned. The director of CCMS Dr. Margarita Stancheva was a session co-chair and speaker.

Organization and capabilities” organized by Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy.
